Towards a Framework for AI-Assisted Data Storytelling

Lately, generative AI (GenAI), a subfield of artificial intelligence aiming to generate new content from what has been learned, has increasingly gained ground. Since one of my research areas is data storytelling, I wondered if GenAI and data storytelling could work well together. And then, I began to investigate the problem until I came to theorize a possible framework for integrating these two elements.

In this blog post, I will briefly tell you about the idea I illustrated in more detail in the scientific paper I presented at the 19th International Conference on Web Information Systems and Technologies (WEBIST 2023) [1].
