Something about me
Who I am, what I do and what I like
My name is Angelica Lo Duca, alias alod83. I’m a Computer Scientist with a PhD in Computer Science. I work in the Research and Technology fields at the Institute of Informatics and Telematics of National Research Council, Italy.
My research interests include: Data Science, Machine Learning, Text Analytics, Data Visualisation, Data Journalism and Web Applications.
I used to work on Network Security, Semantic Web, Linked Data and Blockchain.
I’m also a professor at the University of Pisa, where I teach Data Journalism. I have always enjoyed learning new things and then teaching them to others.
Recently, I have started a new blogging site, called Tips & Tricks for Data Science, where you can read a selection of my posts published on Medium for free.
In free time, I like writing poetries, novels and tales. I have started a new Medium profile, Angie Elle, where you can read my literary production :)
